Running,

      Chasing,

Hoping,

     Waiting.

Hiding tears

            And hiding fears.

Scared to say,

          Scared to show.

In a room,

      All alone,

           Crying into the pillow.

Doesn't want  anyone to know.

       Words fade,

People leave,

        With your secrets and a memory.

Lost hope,

        Lost love,

Trying to ignore it all.

                      It'seasier not to trust,

Rather than always fall.

                Hurt so many times before,

Don't want to open that door.

Closed heart,

               Closed mind. 

Concealed within,

                        These lines. 

Hopefully 

            Wondering

If there is someone

Worth

      Trusting.
