Lost

Your scent still lingers on my skin

your voice was the music I would want on repeat

your touch froze time

your eyes made me forget everything,

made it seem as if everything was okay

even if it wasnt

you made me feel secure

even if the world was against me

you took up every second of my thoughts

then one day it all went away

all those moments

all those smiles

gone

then I felt lost

like a lonely girl in a forest full of confusion

i was lost

i had no sense of direction anymore

maybe it was because my heart was still looking for you.
