Lost

I wish, I wish, with all my might

That I had the power to see the light.

To see the truth, whatever it may be

To unchain my mind, be finally free.

I'm wasting away to a pitiful shell,

Succumbing to weakness in this impermeable hell.

The darkness was, is, and always shall be.

It was first realized the day I became me.
