Lost

The fights grow louder as the house grows colder. The door left open, cold air flowing. The house gets emptier, the tears heavier.

Promises are broken and whose to blame?

It sounds so much simpler to join him. Forget all about life and the world you’ve created.

You may have pulled him out, but now you can push yourself in.

Take care of the pain the way he once did.

The looks get harder to take, the judgements clouding my heart and my head. If the decision was so easy, it would already have been made.

The answers seem to lie at the bottom of a bottle, whether I find it or not is the choice.

The stress sits on my shoulders, causing the constant pounding in my head.

I turn the music loader but it doesn't seem to work the way it once did.

You hope for the hero, or a sign that you were right.

As you stare at a blank message and tell the one you love goodbye.
