Lost
I have been stripped fromk my identity and ripped apart from my native land,
and brought to AmeriKKKa
I am a refuge
My language is lost and s is my race
But the blood of my ancestors run deep in my veins
like the nile runs through Africa never to be stopped or forgotten
for I have not forgotten
my ancestors, I am their shadow and I look through Their eyes
I live for them to bring back the lost ones of the motherland
I see their pain
Yes indeed
We have accepted to be assimilated into this Europoean base culture where
the black man is down and the black women has to work twice as hard to prove her oplace in america
Where they tell us that our hair is not good enough or long enough so we perm it taking every inch of our history away as we turn into what society wants.
As mama always said fried. died and laid to the side is what makes the black women beautiful.
Each in every day we lose our our identity and we will soon be the lost ones
See in our society light is right
like they say if you to black you got to step back and where we categorise ourselves as
#team darkskin and #tema lightskin
We are all black but we have been brainwashed to believe that being of a lighter skin tons makes us supeior
Now in days we call ourselves NIGGAS
My Nigga My nigga
See back then the white man called us niggers to break us down to our lowest level but now it is embedded in our head that we are nothing less and we are Niggas
Do we not come from the great mother land of afican queens and Kings
but i say again we are the lost ones.
