Lost

Have you ever been so Lost?

Ever Felt so Alone?

All these Familiar Faces turn into Stone.

Holding onto Past Memories

And all of its People

That only left you Searching

For what's left of your Soul.

And you can barely feel these Glass Shards

Scattered upon the Warm Earth

Everything's Numb to you

Only Death exists to where once was Birth.

you fall a little bit Deeper

Just to try to catch your Breath—

Just to feel

These Differences between what's Right from what's Wrong

What's Fake from what's Real

you're still Waiting for what's never to come

Still Wishing on a Hopeless Cause

Barely Hanging on a Thread—

you're Slipping

you Wove yourself in too Deep, my Dear, on what once was.

And you have no one to Blame but yourself

"I'm not Alone!" you Scream out—

Cry out

But not a Sound was Made nor Heard

your Bruised and Hollowed Out Heart is left here

To Drown in this Doubt

you can no longer take with you

The One you wanted so much just to Hold—

And along with you to Come

you're just Another in His Eyes

Baby, don't you see?

you're slowly coming Undone.

And I can't Save you from yourself

For I'm far too Late

you're Chained to the Inevitable

Bound and Broken to this Cruel, Cold Fate

I Reach out just Once more

In an Attempt to Touch you

Only you Surrender yourself to this Darkness

Baby, I can't seem to Find you.

Can you Hear me through this Thick, Relentless Wall of a Silence?

"I'm here," a Voice Echoes across Time

But only a Faint Heartbeat was heard throughout the Night

From a Lost Soul Wandering—Claiming to have Once been Mine.
