Lost

Falling deeper and deeper, And you’re no longer here to catch me. My best friend and newest companion Sits idle on the night stand near my Bedside; longing for me to take another sip Tears have made a permanent path on my Face from the many nights I’ve cried for you. Like a broken record in my head, The thought of you is played repetitively. There’s no one to see, no where to go, no one to live for Without you here with me. So here I am lost and destined to never to be found, Hoping one day this misery will end.

This was made based off of a character from a book I once read. She was losing a loved one and I put myself in her shoes and tried to express what she might feel.
