lost

to fall from your given path

a sad but satisfying step

your origional plan halted

your new plan unfolding

stopping in a wildflower patch

swimming in the spring near the willow tree

climbing the old oak

running with the deer

prowling with the wildcats

but looking back onto the path you left behind

a nostalgic feeling looking at the cleanly paved road you once traveled

but in the end we all give in to the feeling and return

to walk the path we were given

but every so often we halt our paths and run
