Lost
I’m lost and it’s so dark. Please find me.
I’ve forgotten what light is. Please remind me.
But not with a light bulb; it might blind me.
All I need you to do is stand behind me.
Put your hands on my eyes redesign me.
I don’t know who I am. Redefine me.
Bring a stick; for the monsters have resigned me.
To this dark, dark place that refined me.
When I tried to break out, fear undermined me.
The wide water discouraged and disinclined me.
I’m not how I was. You must unwind me.
The darkness won. I’m the malign me.
It unlocked from within, the ferine me.
It’s like the Great Wall of China has now confined me.
In a daunting way, it enshrined me.
I want to be free but fate has fined me.
I tried negotiation but it declined me.
I couldn’t pay, so it assigned me.
Life without parole with rope to twine me.
So rushed, it’s like they streamlined me.
I wish you had the remote to rewind me.
Make the memories fade. Unbind me.
Take the anguish way. Reassign me.
You knew the old me. The reclined me.
If she was here now; she’d outshine me.
You were different. You never sidelined me.
One smolder from you could spellbind me.
I trust you and to restore the divine me.
That’s why to your care, I consign me.
I’m depending on you. Please find me.
