Lost
His face shows anger and fear
He wants people to know he isn’t afraid of anything
The streets got to him while police be knocking on his front door
Don’t blame him for a person he is today
The streets are his family
They raised him when both his parents left
Abandoned and crying for someone to save him
No one heard him but the echoes got to the wolf pack
They saved him
My brothers heart did not get rotten by them
The stories are myths that soon turn into whispers
Deep down in his heart he wants to be loved
To be shown he has a purpose in this life
Nobody can bring him down
But himself
Once he steps through that front door
He takes off that mask of fear
The way he loves our mom will always be cherished
He did not think this life would be his
Please don’t blame him for a person he is today
Today he is not free
And never will be
He belongs to one
The wolves own him
His heart
His soul
It will never belong to him again
Every night the wolves howl after a victory of death
And I hope there will not be a howl for you
