Lost

Confliction is a muster of the mind That interwines your way of thinking Too much to ponder into one moment You may burst at the slightest of tweaking Even doing so, you make kind promises You tend to please everyone you know But the one that wants your eyes the most You decide between staying or letting them go You think on your past experiences in life You hold to those so dearly on But it's due to holding those memories That your mind has more narrow paths than one With this being said, you break their heart Your mind seems to not think clearly But they know that you will need some space So they leave before they become teary They want to try and clear your thoughts Bringing their best ideas to the table Helping you, encouraging you But you refuse to choose to become stable You stay connected to your past mistakes You feel as though you are bound to them Ambiance seems to fade overtime Falling deeper into the mind's dark tent You allow yourself to become distressed Feeling that you deserve the strife But the other that loves you keeps you whole They help you heal if you grab a knife Pushing them away will only hurt yourself But they understand and know the cost Now you are left with a more clouded mind It's your fault that you've become lost
