Lost

A flesh being carried by ragging waters,

dragging it deeper and deeper,

weighed down by her tumbled past,

and irreconcilable future,

She tried to muster all of what was left of her,

fighting the relentless waters,

every fragment of her being,

grasping for any semblance of grace,

Nonetheless, it lead her nowhere,

even further and further down,

gasping for air, face down, dreary,

relinquished by the latter, then consigned to oblivion.
