lost?

i guess i am lost

i cant really  focus on the passing faces

it doesnt really matter because

i guess i am lost

i reach the staircase

shoulder to shoulder we stand

my mind drifts, i become a soldier

marching up the steps,

robotic alongside my peers

i guess i am lost

then i see

she slips and falls

down two steps she goes

i reach out my hand

embarssment and isolation is felt

but i guess im not lost anymore
