Lost

When I feel lost
You find me
And I think that’s what I miss most
Being found
Sanity
Peace of mind
Knowing another like myself
Exists.
Without you I’m lonely.
Not lone like a wolf,
But alone
In my heart
In my head.
Sometimes
Because there are times
When I truly feel fine
But at other times
It hits
Like depression
Hard sucker-punch
To my chest
To my head
It’s a wonder I’m not dead
Cause I’ve definitely thought about it.
Solace in a coffin
Pine-boxed in
Like Dracula.
Cause I’m tired of the blood-suckers
Sucking up
Blood-letting me for all that I’m about.
I’d like to be through
Because still
Heart, head, mind
They’re for you.
