Lost & Again

I haven't written poetry in years Not since year seven or year eight I used to write a lot Silly little poems With lots of rhyme And no reason They had feeling, sure Sometimes Abstract feelings Not the feelings I wish I could communicate I could never put words to paper Words that could spin a story Words that were felt In the most beautiful way I was never creative enough Not for myself anyway And I lost my motivation somewhere Along the way I no longer write poetry I no longer tell tales I no longer even draw That was the last to go It was my passion Was But I was never
    ever
good enough Yet I'm trying
