Lost and Found


The magic is gone.

That childlike feeling has died.

I didn’t even get to say goodbye.

I didn’t even notice until it was too late.

No more excitement.

Nothing to look forward to.

I grew up too quickly.

That feeling,

That magical feeling,

The one that made everything seem okay,

Is gone.
