Lost and loved

My sky is full of diamonds Sky is full of souls lost too soon. Friends and family. Those like family. Lost only to illnesses and gun violence. Lost only to time only it's the wrong times. I miss it all. I miss the hey eves. Hey mijas. Hey sweets. Hey punks. Hey babys. I miss the dancing and the laughter. The movies. The long talks at 3pm or 3am no in betweens. I've lost myself in the mix. The mix of grief and acceptance. It's a bitter road to be on. But I'm thankful. Thankful for the lessons. For the love. For the fights and the growths. Thankful to have known my beautiful souls. Lost but never forgotten.
