Lost Angels

(poems go here) Look into the skies && count the stars that are souls Reminisce on their lives && how their stories unfold Look into the skies as they watch down on us all Being a guardian angel to those who loved them to cushion a fall Lost angels through God as their eternal lives began One final goodbye as they reach out for God's hand The tears cried from lost ones can't heal the hurt felt Your eyes cry the pain of your heart screaming help Somebody save me God hear my cries This pain is driving me crazy but I still try to smile Memories haunt your dreams wishing they were still alive Sometimes we wear black && make t-shirts to keep a legacy living Talking to a headstone, drowning in sorrows && memories Think of how they lived && remember their smile Embrace their death && cherish yall times Love, && live life as their legacy shall live God called them home so there's a reason he did Let death give you the strength && motivation to live fully Don't let death consume you or it will ruin you truly Let go && let God: rest easy to these lost angels I look up at the stars && every time it's less painful Lost angels shouldn't mean lost love every time To lose the hurt means to lose the memories of those who died Some may think angels is a strong word to use for the deceased Maybe not a holy angel, but a guardian angel to somebody Somebody who needs them to protect them from harm Somebody to save them from being too far gone When drugs or alcohol became a crutch to deal with life That one who feels there's no purpose to life because death isn't right Death hurts, hopes die, and dreams are trapped in your mind Calling their voicemail to hear their voice one last time Questioning life because death is the easy way out But every breath is a blessing, so make every one count Don't ask the "why" question because it always goes unanswered Death is hard to cope with, just remember where their soul is I look up into the stars && smile at my fallen Once upon a time, I cried until my eyes were swollen Crying never helped, hell therapy didn't either But now I can look into the stars && smile without a tear Silence for the lost angels who live in the sky We can smile, be happy, and celebrate life Sleep peaceful lost angels and continue to watch over we Because we love you and cherish your forever legacy
