Lost Cause

She hides behind a hoodie And a head full of hair Letting it fall to hide her face Her natural shape is her disgrace Knowing she's not perfect But not trying to be Her main goal is to be happy Happy with herself With the one in the mirror Shattered glass and bloody knuckles Tell her reality is drastically different She starves herself and cries at night Wishing she could be pretty Wanting to be okay But she will never change No matter what they say
