The lost child
The child that goes out with only parent consent,
The one who works everyday and can move out but will not because his mother asks him not to leave,
His brother a drug addict, his sister in another country,
Heavy with burden he trudges on for everyone but himself.
Selfish, a word that comes not to his mind,
Doing things to get a simple "you've done well" from her,
His mother, since his earliest memory has shown favor on all but him,
Strong and over coming but yet not able to over come the lack of love he needs from his mother.
Crying in the bathroom at work so no one sees or hears his cries,
Forever yearning but never receiving, never receiving,
The lost child feels as though he spins his tires and goes nowhere but deeper in this hole of depression.
How does one overcome the depths of hell?.....
