Lost Connection

Dear Love of my Life,

I apologise-I let my mind drift.

Between us sits the ever endless void,

It is fearce oceans, down goes the sole raft.

I could not reach with e'ery effort employed.

But you, with your infinite compassion,

Commanded the vessel to break the sea.

Now I, as your ever lasting patron,

Will stand by your side, loving, caring, and kind.
