Lost Connection
lost hope
lost view
lost connection
like a gamer losing internet
I started stressin'
yeah I miss lil' brother
I remember how we grew up in a gutter
late nights crying together
and wishing we could see our mother
I remember how we used to fight
and make chair tents and joke around with our flash lights
we did everything we can to have a little fun
but times changed when he didnt mature like everyone
my little bro stayed being little
he got bigger physically but struggle in terms of mental
I tried everything I could to maintain our connection
but we were split apart by the goverments selection
now I celebrate my birthday on the day you have yours
and hope that one day I could see you when I walk through the doors
of my own home
becuase every single year I celebrate with people and I know your alone
becuase your still stuck in the system
and I know they're just using you to run thier own home
so every single year I call you and cry as soon as I hang up the phone
and I'm sorry for the loss in connection
and the way you've been spun around in every direction
and I can't seem to comprehend your mental degression
but your always so happy, like a child
while I'm struggling with depression
and nobody can tell how you really feel
but keep that smile on your face lil' bro
becuase the fairy tales will soon fade away
and life will become all to real
and I know your not ready to handle that pressure
so as your big bro i'll always be your protector
