A Lost Cry for Help

In the depth of the silence stood a blond little girl

everyone was staring and she wanted to hurl

the lights were shining down on her slim little form

as they watched and waited for her to perform

The others engaged in forlorn facial expressions

as she stood there limp, not making progression

eyes peeked through the curtain anticipating motion

but it was no use, they sensed her lack of devotion

Not a single being knew what zipped through her head

scattering thoughts, humiliation, but most of all dread

this was unlike her, what was she doing?

She froze up like a fool when she should have been perusing

She knew that she needed to do something fast

because the feeling of fright still had not passed

she looked to the audience for that familiar face

but instead all she saw was a disgruntled empty space

Ready to surrender a thought struck her brain

her grandfather would surly look down with disdain

not wanting that burden to ass to her fear

she remembered an old trick to help her persevere

She looked to theaudience and burst with hysteric snickers

she could triumph her fear if she saweveryone in their nickers

they sure looked funny and it was finally the instance

for the girl to show everyone her skill, her reason for existence

The audience gasped as the sound was projected

the beautiful voice of the girl was unexpected

it was captivating, beautiful, and genuinely amazing

the tone was just right she had everyone gazing

It was understood by many why the girl was so afraid

why shes stood in silence and her performance was delayed

it was not because she was nervous, uncertain, or confused

she was afraid of her lyrics, the sounds and words she used

She used strong forceful words to capture her intent

because she wanted everyone to feel to that extent

her meaning was serious and nothing to mock

she was afraid that the audience would ungratefully gawk

Her lyrics expressed pain and torment

that the figure she assembled clearly underwent

the image she created with her wrangle

left the audiences feelings there to dangle

For the image in the poem clearly was afflicted

with a serious problem that the girl depicted

it was something people don't understand

can happen to anyone unplanned

And when the girl had finished her beautiful song

not a sound was heard, the moment felt lifelong

just as she intended the crowd reflected

on the powerful lesson she had just projected

Soon enough the audience erupted with great acclaim

for each and every person truly felt the same

they respected the girl for what she had just achieved

which was making each person realize what they truly deceive

And each person walked out without even knowing

they real reason that the girl was showing

the figure she depicted in her beautiful song

were the struggles inside that she was seeking help for all along
