Lost Eyes
Often times the world would go by
Leaving behind a lost pair of eyes
Gone into the vast of space
Riddled eyes craving just to see her face
The face of the one he loved and lost
At the time when they were together love was a concept lost in the stars
She quaked for his affection
But he could not give what he had never gotten before
An angelic grace trying to heal his bruised soul
All of these new feelings made him pull away from her warm embrace
Not until too late
He realized his drastic mistake
Now lost eyes move through the galaxy
No longer entangled in a hurt souls fallacy
Realizing he has lost something that cannot be replaced
Not just a lover but a friend
Someone who would be with him through anything
Someone he would never find again
Even though these eyes have lost
This is no deterrent to love
Finding someone who will give up everything for you
Is the best drug you could ever think of
Once you find this partner your life won’t be strife free
But you will have someone to fight with you
Till love brings you victory
