Lost of a friend a guide to understanding

Are we that weak, where our emotions guide our actions rather than reason, where we are apologizing like everyday is a different season, hoping the ones we hurt...ears catches wind it, but the wind is cruel...we can't see it. understanding...., For are you atlas, does the world's problems weigh on you? were we the catalyst, the unlucky few? Time isn't always a healer but an escape of the deceased lest we chain this beast Talk to us.... divulge us with your perception, enlighten our eyes free of deception, For we are your friends, your neighbors understanding vanquishes unnecessary atonement but creates a bridge as we as the saviors....

Inspiration to write this poem is when I inexplicably lost two friendships and wrote this on a whim. It's been over 5 years since I wrote a poem so I hope it is good enough.
