Lost in the Future

As I sit and dream about my future,

I get lost all lost in my thoughts,

And it seems that some details are suture,

And I just cannot connect the dots.

The excitement is beginning to be too much to bear,

My teachers are unable to detect it,

It makes me want to pull out my hair,

And throw a hissy fit.

I want to be a teacher,

To help shape someone’s life,

I think I could be good at being a teacher,

I feel I can limit the amount of strife.

I am more than excited,

The journey is about to start,

I am more than delighted,

And ready to not be a sour tart.
