The Lost Generations

We lay rotted six feet under,

Lost in the chaos of our time.

Ashes of the ones before us will soon be our own.

What more can we do

But let ourselves crumble from our world's failures.

They failed to grant us a home.

No such place to ignite our minds through

The lessons of our ancestors,

And vivid stories of our loved ones.

Always deprived of life's wonders.

Buried hand in hand,

Only with each other's despair

We lay united as one.

The generations of youth gone,

Without a single mark on our world.

We are the forgotten ones.

We are the abandoned future.

We are the Lost Generations.
