A lost girl

You have no idea what I want to do.
You’re my best friend and I –want- to help you.
I would, if you’d permit if hug you tight.
If you want, i’d stay up with you.
Listen to your problems all night.
because I need you…need you to stay.
I can’t let you hurt yourself anymore.
I hate imagining you, lying on the floor
kicking and screaming in a muttle of tears.
I’m here for you. Tell me your fears.
I’ll listen to you whenever you need.
I’ll do -anything- to keep from seeing you bleed.
I won’t share your secret
no matter how worried I get.
You can trust me, I’ll keep it secure.
I’m here for you, but I don’t want to lure
you into panic, insecurities, distrust…
so tell me what you feel you must.
Everything else can be saved for another time,
as long as you don’t “cross the line”…
I’ll keep praying and hoping you know that I’m always here for you.
I don’t want you to go.
