Lost a Good Thing.

Dear Grandpa,

It is still so unreal I can't even write about it..I don't want to think about it...

I told you I'd be back, we would ne back laughing with one another you yelling at me

just wanting to talk with me enjoy time with me, but this time something was different

you didnt come back, things got to painful for you down here, of course I didnt know until it

was too late, i took you for granted and I didnt mean it

you loved so hard in your own way, you were one of my first best friends grandma and you

but somewhere along the way we lost our way and I am sorry

I love you old friend for your bright smiles you shared the jokes we made and even the lectures

you gave me

I can still here you everytime I walk thru that door.

You told me if i lost you I would lose a good thing and boy you were right not knowing how much

I took you for granted

Just come back meet me halfway one last time please

stop me by your door one last time I promise i will stop and talk

and tell you so much more

Just one more time tell me you'll be back one more time

or that we'll be back together one more time sharing your bright smile.
