Lost in History

I am lost in the books of past.

The words of history consume me.

Hidden in the corner I am.

Many laugh.

Many mock.

All respect.

I am lost in history.

The past has me.

I know nothing else.

So I am doomed to repeat it.

I do not learn from history.

Because I am lost in it.

I am lost in the deeds of the dead.

Their actions claim my soul.

I am hidden in the pages of the past.

Battles of the old entrance me.

Lost and entrance to the death I am.

Lost in the books of history.
