Lost Little Boy
All he wanted was to spread love and joy.
Asshole, alcoholic, cruel, evil, a mess
Names he was called as far as he could remember,
He was just a lost little boy.
The "S," inked on his chest standing for "hope"
Scars on his heart led him to use drugs to cope,
A think skinned man on his exterior
Innocence lost in his interior.
He had given up on life
Begging, "Lord please end this pain!"
Lost in a war where he had caused death,
"If I can't do it, I'll use this cocaine."
"God please do me this favor, take my last breath."
Too scared to pull the trigger
Although he had done it many times before,
Bloody nose-tears in his eyes
Hair covered face, hiding the little boys cries.
Spread love, happiness, and joy
Soon you won't be a lost little boy,
"Thats not the answer! Help me please!"
Shaking, hoping, pleading and praying on his knees.
I'm a survivor, I have one more fight.
These 12 steps I must employ,
I fully surrendered. God will lead the way
No longer a lost little boy,
For a man stands in front of you today...
