Lost Love

He’s fading

Ever so slowly

In my dreams he is

But a silhouette

Sometimes he has

The faintest of color

His laugh on a

Dying cassette.

He’s distant, so distant

He’s fading away

We’re distant, so distant

Please come back

And stay.
