Lost Memories

Look up

There are only stars

Their light travels from light years away

We cannot even comprehend their journey

These stars have died

We see the glow of their skeletons

Like my own life

There are but two paths

Light or dark

I chose light because I was told to

What does the other path entail

Should I try it

Or should I take your word?
