Lost in the Mind

Between the trees of falling snow
Wonders a man deep below
Awear of only the cold
He pickup his pace, he lets go.

He looks behind, his footsteps hold
Him from his past untold
Hidden, he releases his strife
The coldness captures him twofold

Far from the town, there once a life
Here his heart stabbed by a knife
Silentlly screaming through the dark night
Deeper he goes into the woods, still life.

The cold becomes a numb delight
Retreating into a leading light
No evidence of a burial site
Lost moments, it is his right.
