Lost My Dog

Never mind my monologue, unless you'd like to dialogue.

I woke this morning in a fog, because, you see, I lost my dog.

She was no normal dog, by the way.

One day I found her at a matinee.

Everyday we would play and play until...yes, it was yesterday - my birthday!

On that day, I had a thought that made good sense.

But my need to open presents was intense!

In my mind, I spared no cents, when I thought, I should fix that fense!

Now, a bit teary-eyed, a billion tears I have cried!

Like a wheeping willow tree, I cried the tears of the big blue sea!

My emotions were on a slip-and-slide, I'll admit I was terrified!

Oh, wait a minute, get a grip! I'm just about to do a flip!

Before I got to the bottom of my guilt trip,

I remembered about the chip!

If she is lost, we turn it on and we will find her in a zip!
