Lost in my thoughts.

Long story short it’s been some years and some days.

Some days that I haven’t felt the pain

Some days that I cry to sleep cuz I can’t take the pain

Some days that I can’t think nor blink because all I see is your face photographed in my brain

Some days that I wish you would have died instead,

Instead of saying that you left us for dead

Some days that I wish I still had you

Some days that I wish I could hug you

Some days that I wish we were happy

But we all know that’s not happening

Some days where I wish I could say goodbye

Because last time I said it I didn’t know it was the last time

But some days I ask myself why did you leave

When you had four perfect kids that loved you so dearly

So tell me dad why did you leave were we not enough for your happy ending?
