Lost but not yet found

Sometimes I feel an awakening deep inside of me

i never know what's going on, it's really nothing I can see

i have yet to know who I am or what I am going to do

Maybe it's a rude awakening or it's just something that isn't true

i want to let go, I can feel it taking over, it's a feeling that's so very strong

it comes and dulls then comes again, the feeling doesn't last very long

I know my true self is hiding deep inside my soul

i find it to be intriguing much less to be a goal

Who am I really? What have I to become?

i know for a fact, a fact so true: I am not the only one
