Lost in a Persona II

Redemption is close, but not quite there.

Stained and tainted, burned and neglected.

Abused and forgotten, rediscovered and

Abused some more.

Hope seems close, a blanket forgiveness.

Old memories conform, they block and constrict

The hope that is dimming

The pain that is subsiding

The bells that are fading.

So close to mercy, near to the touch happiness,

Almost content, near safety,

But it's all my fault.
