The Lost Queen

Small silver haired girl

waiting in the tower

chained by her fears

seeking comfort

in her stone cold walls

never wanting to leave

but wanting freedom

all the same

waiting and watching

until one day

A traveler came

unlike the others.

Walking up her steps

instead of carrying

on their way

leaning inside the window

confusion written

across their face

unsure of what to say

but finally stepping inside

the silver haired girl

huddled and flinched in her corner

as the traveler

reached out to cup her hands

in their own

smiling gently

as they stood up

still holding on

gently tugging

until the girl

the exiledx queen

slowly stood up

her chains came undone

fell to the floor with a thud

that echoed

across her

stone cold tower

the Traveler

led her to the window

leading the silver haird girl outside

outside to her

limitless freedom...
