lost at shore

I long for the beautiful travels

beneath that emerald sea

when our skin would collide

like a pen to the paper

writing the last testament of you and I

and as the ink ran out, my skin grew dry

the taste lasted for days,

but soon washed away with the taste of a new sea

I strayed far from the shorelines with the promise of no return

but now your light has guided me north

I can't recall which way is home
