Lost But Soon to be Found

I am growing weary My patience is very thin I feel so alone and in need of a good hug Or something to lift my spirits To help me restore the faith and hope In myself and my world Exercising and sitting around all day is not what I had in mind. One thing lead to another now here I stand alone My world collapsing upon me It's the domino effect Once one domino fall they all fall in a pattern Until the very last one topples over then its my duty to pick them up and rebuild my world with a new solid foundation Letting the past be the past, the future outlined without any dots connecting just yet and the present be just that a present or gift Not knowing what is under the wrapping until the bow is untied Spontaneous, exciting, and most of all a surprise.

My search for a job has been unsuccessful and without a job I do not know how I will be able to pay for school in the fall. My frustration over job hunting and money problems inspired this poem.
