Lost in the System, Found In a Home
Left me reckless and a b a n d o n e d
you let them take me away.
I searched for you, you were NOwhere to be obtained
How many circles can I walk in before I give up looking?
How long before I'm lost for good?
Motherless, Fatherless, Homeless, and Careless
I fled to find a dwelling place.
Placed in residence, each time they make me hesitant to trust.
Pushed and bossed around by humans that weren’t even my birth parents.
Neglected, Abused, Misused and Lackadaisical.
Feeling a sense of betrayal.
The direction to travel was absent.
Wondering if I will ever be found?
Afoot the path of hope.
A light glistened ahead.
I was recovered from the shadows of darkness.
A saint came to my salvation
I knew this was the end of the battle,
I had been found
