Lost Thing
A depression is what you caused.
Self- love is what you took.
Happiness is what you stole.
My mentality is what you kept.
You showed me what I felt was real,
Then stripped me of it like it was yours.
You held me at my highest point,
Then dropped to me to the lowest level.
Love is what you called it.
A mockery of the word.
You took my heart and played with it.
Apart of all your games.
Happiness is the key to life.
You stole that from me.
As a gift to you,
My dignity.
You may not know what to do with it,
But as you stare at it cluelessly,
Remember what love used to be.
Before you lost your favorite thing.
