Lost Things

Searching for something I know I won't find.

I've misplaced my heart, and I'm losing my mind.

Digging up secrets and lies from old friends.

Waging battles and wars in which I can't contend.

Searching here and there breaking promises as I go.

I've lost you forever: this, the one thing I know.
