Lost in Transit

I love the way you do the things you do With your wavy brown hair and blue eyes This town is an empty maze without you I think I may have seen you in the streets When you rode your bike with all those guys I love the way you do the things you do You work at a butcher shop and sell meats You give me a smile every time I arrive This town is an empty maze without you I find you sitting in despair and defeat When you jump into the pool and take that dive I love the way you do the things you do You were next to me when I sat at my seat When did you really get off that train, perhaps around five? This town is an empty maze without you All of our children, you fed them too many sweets But all that really matters is the fact that you’re still alive I love the way you do the things you do This town is an empty maze without you
