lost in transition

It's as if everyone is watching, waiting for what's next. I wonder if they think, I'm gonna fuck up next. Pretty sure they've noticed, the drink in my hand... They notice but fail to realize, that the child they raised, is lost in transition... She doesn't know who she is anymore. It's all because they told her "no". No to everything that she fell in love with, No to the man who she can't let go of. Now she's too wrapped up in going from one life to the other. when all she wanted was for her parents just to love her for who she was. She's lost her ground and is losing her mind and the man they said no to is the only one keeping her alive.
