Lost in Translation

My life feels like one run-on sentence I, am constantly catching my breath I never rest the commas pauses at best bold letters pouring from my chest italics dripping from my eyes I don’t know why I’m always so surprised but I, don’t know the language in which my life is written can’t read the font in which my fate is sitting I, needed you to translate needed you to set me straight I, felt right rolling off your tongue feel like nothing now that you’re gone I, try to guess what it all means try to learn what to you came so easily I, wish you taught me what you knew wish you deciphered my whole truth ‘cause I’m just lost in translation and I was written to be read by you.

Clever! Language and writing style becomes another tool used to punctuate your message, devilishly clever!

Wow! From the beginning you had my attention. I like how you used grammar as a thought in this poem. The run-on sentence thing. Really gave this poem feeling through how you expressed it as you wrote. I'm impressed! Keep up the wonderful works of art. Maybe you can check out my poem I posted just today! I'm new on here. So maybe you could mentor me? Give me some criticism on my writing? What I can improve on.

This is so beautiful, and something that I would really love to hear read out loud. I'm not quite ready to ask for help with my own poems yet, but I was hoping that I could ask in the future if there is something that I love more than the rest.

I would love it if you read my poem. I've always kept my writing to myself so I'm not sure if I'm a good writer or not. I would much appreciate some advice. :) http://www.powerpoetry.org/poems/seemingly-oblivious-patriot

Your verses are so fluid. It almost feels like a rap song. Could you please critique this: http://www.powerpoetry.org/poems/moms-love-story

Just completed my second piece. I call it "Cognitive Necropolis of the Disturbed Domicile". I do hope that you find this piece to be more compelling, and darker than the last piece. At this point you've probably noticed the recurring theme of introspective horrorcore, which I fancy myself a specialist in although I do many other styles as well, but I've always admired poets like Edgar Allen Poe, Shakespeare, and even a rapper by the name of Twisted Insane. These are my inspirations because they are easily the best when it comes to portraying brutal, gory, and openly offensive content (referring to the Catholic Church). I one day aspire to push past these and many others as I develop my own skill set so I would implore you please check it out when you have the time.

Link: www.powerpoetry.org/poems/cognitive-necropolis-disturbed-domicile

This is really cool! Coincidentally we just so happen to share similar writing styles, and if it isn't much trouble I would really love it if you would leave a comment on my poem "Murder in the Mirror". I'm sort of a newcomer here although I've been writing for ages now, and I believe you would be the best person to help me advance my abilities further.

5/5 for the unorthodox method you employed here :)
