Lost Without...

Lost without my cat, how lonely would I be

No matter where I am, she will always be with me

Her presence makes me happy, her purr makes me glow

Her playful nature is like no other, my smile can definately show

We've become so attached, this little kitten and I

That without her in my life, I would surely sob and sigh

She is rambunctious, hyper, and even a little weird

But that weirdness I may miss, and that is what is feared

The thought of leaving is frightening, but it must be done

To start a new beginning, the next chapter has begun

So soon I must leave her, at home with mom and dad

It seems bittersweet, but somehow, I'm not sad

I know I'll come home to visit and see her little face

And know that God put her there to stand in my place
