Lost Without It

Stranded on a deserted island

My mind's going haywire

But I need a book

Any book, just to take a look

I can't live without a book

It leads me to an enchanted

World out of sight

It wisphers, follow me you'll find the light

Stranded and lonely I feel dead

I wake and find a book and here's what it said,

Read me and you'll be alive

Open my pages and you'll survive

Don't weep on this lonely island

For when I am near

Everything will be clear

Stranded on a lonely island in tears

In reality I only have one fear

To be stranded with no book near

On the island, I hope and pray

Someone will send a book my way
