Lost without you

Tell me what's the point of it all, should I cry, or just not care
Should I feel bad that there was no love, my parents left me and were not there.
I'm growing up all alone, inside these deep walls of solitude
I live inside of a foster home, and I didn't even know that dude.
I didn't even know that man, cause if he knew me he probably would have loved me
How could you disclaim your son, when you didn't even know all he could be.
But yet I didn't even know that lady, when the nurse held me, she told her what a lovely baby
My mama said that she couldn't keep me, was it a fact or just a slight maybe.
Did she try, or was she negligent, I guess its true any ol' person can get pregnant
I guess you couldn't even love yourself, cause you held your little baby boy with resentment.
Your mother, my grandmother, it's a shame that we won't ever probably get to meet
Its bad how two people's terrible choices can lead to an eternity of everlasting deceit.
But should I cry or should I care, because without you, I think I'm better
I hold no grudges for your mistake, because without you, I feel a sense of pleasure.
Not because I have no mother or a father to call my own
But only because I may have a better chance to call a true parent's house my home.
